Lisa Christian

Lisa Christian is a Philadelphia native whose musical journey began with the soulful sounds of 70's FM radio, further shaped by the Beatles at age 11. Quickly mastering her first guitar, she started gigging in high school and soon established her name in the local scene. Moving to Nashville, she honed her unique sound before relocating to Atlanta. There, she joined forces with Lisa Durand to form Christian/Durand, performing at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics and 1998 Lilith Fair, and recording albums at EMI Recording Studios and with Jimmy Johnson in Muscle Shoals.  She has also opened for the likes of Bonnie Raitt and Marty Stuart.  Christian has been a popular local musician along the Gulf Coast over the years.

June Hurston

June Hurston, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, found her passion in music and harmonies at the age of 6, performing gospel with her sisters. The trio shined in the local music scene, winning talent shows and performing in churches across the Mid-South. Their talent captured the attention of Elvis Presley's bassist, Bill Black, leading to a demo recording at Sun Studios. After marrying drummer Rob Hurston, music remained at the core of their lives. Upon moving to Gulf Shores in 2011, June met Kay Sorrells during a local worship service. They both became backup singers for Elvis tribute artist, Shane Tucker, contributing their vocals to the "Elvis Remembered" show with the Promised Land Band.
